This is without a doubt my favorite edition of this book. Tales of Frankenstein Frankenstein Jr. Unfortunately the series has seen delays, but how can you be upset with art this good? I will say I prefer the arctic ending of the novel to the villagers ending of the movie, and while both the movie and novel were great, I think the storyline of the novel was superior.

I loved the discussion and value placed on science and hopes for it, and found it easy to root for multiple characters in this book, only to watch the horror that befalls them The illustrations in this edition of Frankenstein are so detailed, gorgeous, and emotionally rendered; they come at just the right parts of the story to expand the writing in dramatic ways, and are a pleasure to behold again and again.

But with any great book, this timeless story stands on its own even without pictures.

The result for Mary was Frankenstein based on a dream she had about a scientist who created life and was horrified by what he had made. This is the best version of this novel.
