Ok, she is probably the most oblivious girl ever to walk the planet in a few millennia in matters of the heart but, aside from that, her voice is real, funny, honest and even though I am not sure I can relate to a teen quarterback, she’s one of those characters that are instantly likable, if only for the fact that she’s not afraid to stand up for what she believes in.

I loved meeting Jordan and Henry again, and I absolutely loved this short, but sweet and adorable glimpse at their past. Jordan is a great character, strong and determined on the outside, but soft as a marshmallow on the inside. Though some of the football terms quite confuse me because I wasn’t really fan of that sports, it’s still a great read. How much we love Jordan and Henry’s relationship.
I waited until Henri stopped acting like a childish man whore yeah, that exists, apparently He did, but too late. And I was like: This site uses Akismet to reduce spam. I don’t care if her best friend is the spitting image of Johnny Depp circa Crybaby, the fact that he’s put his coin roll into like, EVERY game at the arcade is not attractive. Her dream is to go to Alabama and play college football, and for her dad, the ‘great’ Donovan Woods, to go to her games, and finally be happy for her.
Also, I was jorddan quite sure if I was suppose to fall for Ty, but there was just something about him that left me feeling cold about this character.

Besides that, while I feel like Catching Jordan had a great start, towards the middle and end I didn’t feel like the book was going anywhere. Jordan’s life long goal is to get a football scholarship to the University of Alabama — the best football college in the country. He seems to only have eyes for Jordan. What I didn’t like about her was that she was supposed to represent feminists when in reality she wasn’t feminist, not at all!
I could easily see this as a TV show lol The one major problem I had with this book was view spoiler [ Jordan is nearly 18 yrs old, she kisses Ty on a sat night then freaks out, and come monday she loses her Virginity to him? I would rec this book, but only if you’re in a light mood because otherwise, I get the feeling this book would get on your nerves: Henry was a darling catchin.
